The Journey series began with a journey.
I suggested that a day working alongside
the art director at Quarto in London would be really
useful and helped me understand what they were looking for.
So the majority of each book was crashed out in a day
using print outs of the spreads with type positionals.
This process kept things fresh from my point of view and
having a good art director helped!
